Regional Operations Manager

REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER, MEDIA, LONDON 12 MONTH FTC- UP TO £80K

Experienced IT Operations Manager required by an established media company to be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of regional network and systems infrastructure. The role is also responsible for developing, maintaining and publishing operational standards, procedures and guidelines for use within the shared IT organisation.

The ideal Operations Manager will have extensive experience in a similar role and must be an intelligent, articulate, consensus building and persuasive leader. They will also demonstrate the ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives or activities and effectively make judgements on prioritising time and allocation in a high-pressure environment.

The ideal candidate will have the following Technical Skills:
IT infrastructure operations
Operational analysis and evaluation of infrastructure related performance
Best practices, processes and techniques related to ITSM- ITIL v3
Vendor relationship management and contract management with IT and systems providers
TCP/IP and other related protocols

Extensive experience in IT Operations with a technical background with supporting Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related field is essential to the role.

This technical background must be balanced with effective communication and people skills.

ITIL, CAPM and PMP certifications preferred.

This is an exciting, brand new role for the client and for the right person, the Company will pay up to £80k.
