IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Responsibility for the regional leadership of the strategic and tactical medical plan for the diabetes portfolio with focus on the area of the DPP4 inhibitors
-Oversee the alignment of medical strategies and communication plans, support resources and budget to meet the medical and commercial needs of regional business
-Ensure regional medical affairs activities and tactics are scientifically sound, aligned with the medical strategic imperatives, conducted within relevant guidelines, executed in budget, and of a high standard
-Support other stakeholders to meet the informational needs of regional and local medical teams
-Develop a regional strategic communication plan in line with the product Life Cycle Management Plan Communicate and align the plan with the global publications team and oversee its execution and production of publications
-Create and execute the regional medical strategy plan, including (but not limited to) medical activities such as advisory boards, medical congress symposia and other medical education projects
-Provide input into the global commercial and promotional strategy and work closely with marketing colleagues to ensure a robust and substantiated campaign within codes of promotional practice
-Collaborate with and provide medical input to Market Access colleagues on reimbursement and health policies-related projects to enable successful product launch accordingly

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-MD (Medical Doctor) with clinical experience in Diabetes and especially in DPP4 inhibitors
-In-depth experience in the pharmaceutical industry (including profound medical affairs experience and/or clinical development experience in Diabetes), academic research, healthcare management experience and/or other medically relevant experience
-Strategic medical leadership within in-line and new product launch medical affairs experience
-Experience in the DPP4 inhibitor market
-Experience in delivering on tactics to support medical strategic imperatives and ability to do so
-Robust medical affairs experience in biologic therapy is necessary
-Significant experience in general medicine with demonstrated flexibility in therapy areas is highly desirable
-Experience in working with national and international regulatory agencies
-Good understanding of the international reimbursement landscape and process is beneficial
-Good knowledge of the international healthcare market, ability to identify healthcare trends and the related commercial opportunities
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Multiple language skills appreciated, fluency in English is required
