Regional Clinical Research Associate

My client is a growing medical device company targeting the treatment of liver disease. They are developing the first human bioartificial cell-based liver and have conducted clinical trials in the US, Europe and China. The regional Sr. CRA will be responsible for monitoring / managing 5-8 clinical sites for a phase III program.

Education / Experience Required:

* BSN Degree / RN is strongly desired (Bachelors Degree, Life Sciences considered with relevant work experience)
* Prior experience as a Clinical Research Associate and at least 5 years monitoring background
* Must have 6+ years experience in the industry working for Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and/or CROs
* Site start up experience; conducts site qualification, initiation, monitoring and close out visits
* Experience working on complicated indications such as Oncology or Cardiovascular Disease
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Honest, hard-working and committed to achieving difficult goals
* Proactive and independent, capable of working with mutiple investigative sites
* Communicates status of clinical studies to senior management
* Available to travel up to 50% during peek periods
