REGIONAL BUSINESS CONTINUITY LEAD BELLEVUE, WA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

The Regional Business Continuity Lead reports to Global Business Continuity and is responsible for providing Business Continuity as a service to our enterprise clients subsidiaries.

Some travel will be required to the main office locations of the US and Canada Subsidiaries. The effective use of communications technology balanced with travel is an important aspect of role in achieving an effective overall solution.

PRIMARY ROLE PURPOSE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

- Manage and deliver compliant and effective Business Continuity Programs for subsidiaries in scope by working in collaboration key teams
- Ensure that the Subsidiary Business Continuity programs are aligned and compliant with the Corporate Business Continuity Policy, reporting any discrepancies and/or risks

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Manage and deliver BCM programs for US, Canada and North America consolidated group
- Act as the main liaison for regional questions on Business Continuity
- Provide regular regional status and compliance reporting
- Ensure all documentation is to the required standard and stored in the designated data repository
- Build working relationships with key regional stakeholders as part of establishing a Business Continuity capability that is integrated with existing Crisis, Disaster and Incident response functions
- Establish the regional annual program for the subsidiaries in scope
- Demonstrate fiscal responsibility with the effective use of the technology to minimize travel and the associated costs
- Contribute to the process and documentation improvement initiatives that lead to an effective annual program of maintenance and compliance
- Collaborate to help build an effective and efficient team

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Regional Lead must be able to show that s/he is able and confident to deliver the Subsidiary Business Continuity Programs in his/her scope.

A suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate most of the following:

- Must have Business Continuity Management (BCM) experience
- 5+ years Program Management experience based on successful delivery
- Experience in working with and advising senior management
- Proven track record of driving individual results within a team environment
- High level of understanding of business continuity management with the ability to explain the principles to the business audience
- Exposure to International or large multi-national organization
- Awareness and appreciation of regional culture
- Risk Management experience(IRM or similar) a plus
- Program or Project Management certification a plus
- Strong communication and engagement skills that are aware of the audience
- Ability to collaborate and win through negotiation
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft products, including MS Office, Visio and SharePoint
- Must be open to flexible working hours to accommodate the range of time zones
