Ref:2756 - Learning and Conservation Officer - Full Time

This is a fixed term contract for a period of up to 5 years.

Enfield Council has secured a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to restore the historic landscape of Forty Hall Estate to its 18th century former glory. In addition to restoring the historic features, the project will improve access, upgrade some visitor facilities and enrich the park's habitats.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the project through the creation of opportunities for community involvement. The successful individual will develop a range of volunteering and educational initiatives which will support the management and enhancement of the Forty Hall Estate.

The successful candidate will need to have practical experience in either landscape architecture, grounds maintenance, horticulture or conservation, and possess the skills to engage and work with people of all ages and from all backgrounds.
