We are looking for a Lead Infrastructure Architect to start ASAP for a company in BRUSSELS

DESCRIPTION:

You hold a university master's degree in natural sciences or management. You are at least 10 years of professional experience in IT and you justify a practice of IT architecture and business.

You thrive in a heterogeneous technical environment. This is a reflection of IT service provider organization in constant evolution.

As Lead Infrastructure Architect, your mission is to define the architecture for the following infrastructure components: Network - server - storage/archiving.

As a member of the architecture team, you will define the strategic architecture that reflects the strategy of the organization. It will be agile and flexible enough to meet the future challenges of the organization.

You will join in your thinking aspects costs (investment and operational). Your analysis will include a permanent security aspects in end-to-end approach (integration of security aspects in a whole chain of production). Due to the heterogeneous and complex nature of the environment, you will support projects of rationalization and consolidation of infrastructure. As part of this integrated and customer-oriented approach, the concepts of monitoring service will also be considered.

Within the organization, you also collaborate well with the rest of the architecture department than other departments in the organization (development, operations and infrastructure).

You are familiar with the technology and object-oriented methodologies. You have a common practice of modelling business processes. Archimate, BPMN, UML, Togaf, Sparx ... are concepts that are familiar to you. You have designed solutions in complex and heterogeneous technical environments. The integration of the business world mutuals, insurance and finance process is not an obstacle.

ROLE

As Lead Infrastructure Architect, your role includes 3 distinct activities: advice, control and be visionary.

As the designer of the IT strategy based on the strategy of the organization for a specific field of activity, you will assist the organization in the implementation of this strategy.

You should also check that the strategy used is the one you defined.

You must always ensure that alignment between business and IT through clear communication to all parties/stakeholders.

Within the organization, you are a member of a cross-functional team that is involved in many projects. Each intervention must be carried out by integrating the three components of the role of Lead Infrastructure Architect.

HAVE SKILLS IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT (BASED ON PRINCE 2)

Have knowledge of IT operational processes (ITIL)

Have a general knowledge of IT (infrastructure, Middleware, software, ...) and keep it

Be able to identify gaps in processes and suggest improvements

Mastering professionally French, Dutch and English

Expertise in managing and modelling infrastructure in a heterogeneous environment

Ability to interact with solution providers
