Hours: 40 hours per week; 5 out of 7 days shift

Your role, as a Redistribution Operative, is to be responsible for redistributing bicycles (through driving scheme vehicles across the zones) to ensure Cycle Hire Scheme users have an available bicycle at their docking station and an empty bicycle docking point upon arrival at their destination.

Your duties will also include:

- Responsible for redistributing bicycles across the network using real-time knowledge about the status of every station and every bicycle.
- Provide a rapid response to meet variable user demands, throughout the day.
- If required, carry out light maintenance work performed directly at the docking stations.
- Ensure daily checks are undertaken on all vehicles and trailers, prior to commencement of shift rosters.
- As directed, maintain a professional interface with the client and project team(s), working closely with the team to meet project deadlines and respond to their requirements.
- Complete all paperwork as required, in an accurate, legible and timely manner.

Essential skills / qualifications / experience for the role

- Clean full UK driving licence;
- Driving experience in central London
- Will need to be fully trained in manufacturer specifications to clean and carry out minor repairs to bicycles - training compliant to EU Regulations for components;
- Must be willing to undertake the `bikeability` training course to ensure proficiency and safe working;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Trustworthy, reliable and flexible;
- Problem resolution skills;
- Flexible regarding working hours;
- Must pass random drug
- Numerate & literate.

This role can be based at either Penton Street, Islington or Lyham Road, Wandsworth
