Redhat Linux Engineer

Red Hat Linux Engineer, Programming, Implementation, Big Data, Data Management

We are currently looking for a strong Red Hat Linux engineer, preferably with experience in programming and Middleware tooling for data management. You will be responsible for the implementation of cloud services solutions for European customers.

Responsibilities:

- Work with clients you understand their questions and wishes and you can help in using our systems.
- Translate well to the needs of our customers around implementation and use of Middleware tooling for data management for programmers
- Provide training for customers in the area of (big) data, data management
- You provide input on solutions for the storage of data and participate in international projects in the field of data services.

Experience required:

- Knowledge and/or experience with data management
- Good RedHat Linux engineering skills
- You are able to translate the wishes of our users' requirements for technical implementations
- Experience with Python and C programming is required. In addition you have knowledge of programming in a Linux environment (C, Perl, PHP, Java)
- You're familiar with scientific workflows, data processing algorithms and data structures
