RED HAT LINUX SERVER SUPPORT ENGINEER

RED HAT LINUX/ORACLE CLUSTERING/ZFS/SERVER HARDWARE

REQUIREMENTS

- Strong knowledge level of RED HAT LINUX is essential
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF SOLARIS PREFERRED
- Strong knowledge level of SOLARIS VIRTUALIZATION, ZONES AND ORACLE CLUSTERING
- Strong knowledge level of Veritas Clustering and Storage Foundation Suite.
- Expertise with ZFS file systems, zfs snapshots and zfs file system recovery
- Thorough understanding of SERVER HARDWARE and peripherals, including mirrored drives, multipathing, and networking
- Able to demonstrate superior creative, innovative and problem solving skills
- Able to interpret data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
- Able to analyze devices, designs, materials and processes
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline
- 2-3 years experience, at least one of those years as an associate engineer

CERTIFICATIONS DESIRED:

- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Certification on Compaq/HP and SUN Servers required
- Solaris administration - Sol 9-11
