Our client in Basel is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with indepth knowledge and experience in the areas of system design, installation, operation, monitoring and support of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.MAIN SKILLS
- Experience with storage, ideally EMC VMAX and/or EMC VPLEX and/or NetApp storage administration.
- Experience in Perl and Shell Scripting.
- Excellent general infrastructure know-how, with experience in complex heterogeneous IT environments.
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
- BMC Control-M
- HP Data Protector
- Red Hat Network Satellite Server
- Clustering, SAN, storage and networking technologies. (Preferred Cisco MDS NX-OS)
- Virtual infrastructure (VMware or Red Hat virtualisation).
- Apache and Tomcat web services.
- Experience with Change Management procedures.
- Willing to take over call-out responsibilities in the relevant areas.
