ROLE: RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

TYPE: CONTRACT

LOCATION: HIGH WYCOMBE

DURATION: 6MONTHS FULL TIME

- Full time 6 month contract role for Senior Recruiter, based at High Wycombe. Ideally with basic understanding of Pharma or Pharma experience and ideally in house experience but can consider a really good agency recruiter.
- ASAP start.
- Ideally 2 - 5 years' experience.
- Key is to have excellent communication skills with business stakeholders, build strong relationships.
- Responsible for managing the recruiting process across multiple business units and functions across 3 main pharma sectors.
- This role manages the full life cycle recruitment needs of the business both in the UK and Ireland and in some cases across EMEA, including direct sourcing, fostering and establishing consultative working relationships with Hiring Managers through to offer management using a variety of sourcing methods and technology solutions.
- High priority in this role is to provide the business with effective, timely and up to date recruitment strategies that meet the needs of the business and attract the best talent pipeline possible.

ESSENTIAL

- Degree level educated or equivalent
- Minimum of between 2-3 years' experience either in an in-house recruitment model or agency.
- Must have demonstrated capability in recruiting for a wide variety of roles across sales and marketing, commercial, administrative, senior leadership, R&D and manufacturing/operations.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, customer service and organisation skills required
- Attention to detail and the ability to deal appropriately with confidential information required
- Ability to handle multiple projects and requisitions simultaneously as is the ability to develop strong relationships and influence others
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of HR recruitment practices including but not limited to compensation, global mobility, employment law, interviewing and sourcing strategies
- Previous experience of media use (ie Linked in/job boards etc.)
- Ability to work in a team and as a team member
- Must have strong account management, consulting and interviewing skills - previous experience of working with competency based selection methods essential
- Strong administration skills including use of MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Must be prepared to travel

DESIRABLE

- Experience of using Taleo or a similar applicant tracking system
- Experience of using a third party vendor as part of the recruiting process
- University/Graduate recruiting experience
- Experience of working within the Consumer, Pharma or MD&D environments
- Experience of working in a start up' team where you have to establish the new recruiting model and working practices
- Experience of using psychometrics/assessment materials and analysing this information for selection purposes
- Exposure to recruiting for EMEA advantageous.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

- Recruitment of all level roles up to and including Senior Management across the three main sectors and in a variety of departments including Sales & Marketing, Commercial, Sales, R&D and Operations.
- Ensuring that headcount approvals are in place prior to the commencement of recruitment
- Utilise a variety of direct recruitment methods to source candidate (eg Linked in, Monster, employee referrals, advertising etc)
- Briefing and management of third party employment agencies.
- Selection techniques including telephone interviewing, competency based interviewing, psychometric testing and designing and running assessment centres
- Ensuring all follow up on recruitment is done in a timely manner and in accordance with global and local policy including adhering to recruitment management rules (obtaining feedback notes/arranging 1st and 2nd interviews)
- Ensuring that the recruitment process is conducted quickly and professionally to ensure that we attract and secure the best quality candidates in the market place
- Project work related to the 3 year plan as and when required
- Ensuring that all recruitment is conducted according to policies and procedures
- Proactively manage and represent the business in the candidate management experience to ensure candidates remain engaged with our clients.
- Working with the UK Recruitment lead in producing and presenting customer reports to demonstrate time to fill and cost to hire saving as well as other relevant company information and metrics.
- Represent our client to all internal and external candidates and provide a positive employee and candidate experience. Actively build relationships at all levels across the business and proactively ensure involvement at business meetings to understand the challenges and requirements of the business fully.
- Have a full working knowledge and understanding of the compensation framework and grading system and manage the offer process including gaining Total Rewards and business approval, offer and raising the contract.
- Maintain current knowledge of business, marketplace, legal and recruitment trends and requirements
- Build and maintain effective partnerships and relationships with colleagues, hiring managers, business leaders, HR partners and candidates. Attend business and HR meetings frequently.
- Check professional references and drive other candidate due diligence activities in compliance with the recruitment operating procedures
- Manage the data associated with the recruitment process to ensure that all relevant data on applicants, the process and the final hiring decision is properly handled and stored.
- Ensure end user education and training for hiring managers
