KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be working as part of a small resourcing team in HR, and you will also have to work closely with other HR teams in the Agency and the Department for Transport.
THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POST WILL INCLUDE:
- Developing options for the design and procurement of a streamlined recruitment service for the new company to include recruitment of permanent and temporary staff, advertising, assessment services, security checking, on-boarding and executive search.
- Supporting the design of best practise, time efficient recruitment policies and procedures, including governance.
- Developing options to upskill staff as required in the new policies, procedures and system.
- Developing an integrated management information system.
- Helping to develop new approaches to workforce planning.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Ideally you will be CIPD qualified (or similar) and have broad experience of working in recruitment and resourcing in the public and private sectors. You will need to have:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience of designing and delivering effective recruitment policies and procedures
- Experience in change management in a fast moving environment
- Excellent influencing skills
- The ability to build and maintain relationships at a distance
