Recruitment Specialist

I am looking to hire a Recruitment Specialist for our public sector client.

Qualifications

¨ Qualification in REC or equivalent recruitment qualifications (Desirable)

¨ Qualification in use of psychometric and ability testing eg BPS accredited Level AB (Desirable)

¨ Chartered member of CIPD (Desirable)

¨ Evidence of continuing professional development (Essential)

Experience

¨ Operational Recruitment experience (Essential)

¨ Experience in the use of on-line recruitment systems (Desirable)

¨ Practical experience of facilitating change in a rapidly moving environment (Essential)

¨ Experience providing excellent customer service (Essential)

¨ Experience of developing and implementing new systems and procedures (Desirable)

Skills/Attributes

¨ Practical knowledge of resourcing

¨ Knowledge of employment legislation

¨ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

¨ Excellent interpersonal skills able to engage and build effective relationships at all levels in the organisation

¨ Ability to present to small groups of people

¨ Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

¨ Ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities

¨ Consistently high attention to detail and quality of work

¨ Ability to work as a member of a team

¨ Effective negotiator and influencer

¨ Ability to apply consulting approach and skilled in partnering with managers to achieve business objectives
