Purpose of Role:

- The Serco Recruitment Team provides a dedicated service to Volkswagen Group and are responsible for the management and delivery of all recruitment on behalf of Volkswagen Group (Head Office).
- The Recruitment Project Manager provides professional recruitment support that partners with the business to ensure the provision of high quality recruitment activities. This role is an integral part of a dedicated Recruitment team within the Human Resources area. In this team, the Recruitment Project Manager will be the first point of contact for the business for all staffing needs and will partner with the Heads of Business and HR Partners to provide full scope recruitment activities - posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Recruits, interviews, evaluates and refers qualified candidates for all positions to HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers, coordinates all recruitment meetings/interviews.
- Continually researches, recommends, and implements recommendations utilizing alternative recruitment resources, channels, partners, and coaches hiring managers on effective selection techniques.
- Maintains and reports on employment metrics, continually looks for areas to improve and takes action.
- Strong team player that takes the initiative to collaborate within HR Operations team, Business HR, and the Business to drive results with a focus on continuous improvement and ability to drive an outstanding signature candidate experience.
- Management of up to 2 Recruitment administration resources.

Skills / Experience Required:

- The ideal candidate will have demonstrable in-house / corporate recruiting experience
- Must be results driven and able to partner with stakeholders to understand their business needs
- Experienced in sourcing and establishing strategic partnerships with agencies and establishing new channel and alternative recruitment sources.
- Project Management experience
- Must have strong experience in utilizing applicant tracking and database management systems
- Ability to manage own workload and work to tight deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Extremely well organised
- Demonstrate and maintain confidentiality
- Effective communicator both verbally and written
- Excellent team player as well as being able to work on own initiative
- Pro-active, challenging and self motivated
- Flexible and adaptable
- Customer focused
- Able to be efficient and effective under pressure
