Our client is looking for a first class recruiter. You will be working with business managers to discuss the best way of filling posts, providing innovative solutions where necessary and considering the long term approach for specialist fields as appropriate.

Your responsibilities will be:
*To foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders
*Identify appropriate methods of recruitment and selection to all grades, to include diverse communities.
*Actively develop innovative solutions to tackling volume and individual recruitment campaigns to ensure that the client continues to attract and recruit new talent.
*Design and execute a detailed recruitment plan within targeted time frame. For example, recruitment targets, advertising methods, analysis of pay issues, diversity and timelines.
*Coaching and advising line managers, ensuring they understand the recruitment process.
*Lead and develop a team of recruitment advisors.
*Review, evaluate and improve existing recruitment processes and practices.
*To collate and provide detailed recruitment statistics for appropriate management boards

Essential skills required are:
*Excellent verbal communication skills. For example experience of negotiating and building relationships with key stakeholders, delivering presentations, representation at senior meetings, and coaching users of the recruitment system.
*Strong written communication written skills, for example writing job descriptions, person specifications, adverts and business cases appropriate to the audience. Also influencing via written correspondence.
*Significant recruitment and selection experience to include competency based interviewing, sifting and quality assuring recruitment documents.
*Evidence of implementing innovative solutions to tackling volume and individual recruitment campaigns. For example using pro-active targeting to attract applicants, including brand awareness, Internet advertising and desirably social media.
*Working knowledge of relevant employment legislation
*Team working. For example, sharing best practice with other recruiters and supporting each other when recruitment volumes are high
*Good IT skills with the ability to produce documents in Word and Excel
*Designing and executing a detailed recruitment plan within target deadlines. For example, recruitment targets, advertising methods, analysis of pay issues, diversity and timelines.
*Experience of working through a period of significant change, such as implementation of an e-recruitment system, or organisational change

Desirable:
*Experience of Executive level recruitment or ideally SCS recruitment within the Civil Service would be advantageous
*Member of CIPD
