Job Description Recruitment Officer - Fixed Term Contract, Glasgow - GLA0007V GB-Scotland-Glasgow

Ernst & Young is one of the largest professional services firms in the UK. We have a diverse in-house recruitment team with a strong reputation in the marketplace and are looking to recruit in one of Glasgow to further bolster this team.

This role is an exciting opportunity to work across Experienced Hire and Graduate Recruitment. We envisage approximately a 50/50 split in time across both functions though this may fluctuate at different points in the year.

The overall purpose of this role is to work with key internal and external stakeholders to attract and identify the best talent for our business.

Responsibilities - Experienced Hire: • Manage the end to end recruitment process for candidates and working closely with the business

• Focus on direct recruitment, research and generate a candidate pipeline from internal and external sources, both UK and international.

• Build knowledge of the competitor market and identify strong talent in the marketplace. Track and maintain contact with these candidates directly.

• Execute core contingency and campaign recruitment to include constructing briefs/role descriptions, advising on compensation, monitoring and reporting on progress, conducting interviews when necessary, drafting communications and liaising with internal clients.

• Develop resourcing campaigns, advising on process, routes to market, use of assessment and selection tools, media and resourcing technologies.

• Working closely with the HR Shared Service Centre

• Manage pipeline metrics and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of information to support the production of management reporting for the Service Line

• Manage relationships with third parties, including suppliers, recruitment parties and media advisors, within agreed terms.

• Liaise with HR, immigration and other key stakeholders regarding issues relating to the recruitment, hire and induction processes.

Responsibilities - Graduate:

• Input into attraction strategy to ensure that we recruit the best talent

• Implement mechanisms to attract and indentify the best talent and coach potential candidates through the assessment process.

• Specific responsibility for managing events, relationships and candidate pipelines at defined campus

• Develop campus strategies in conjunction with campus team manager and campus team members using knowledge of campus and detailed analysis of candidate statistics

• Plan, prepare and attend quality campus activities at regular intervals across the year

• Identify and build strong campus relationships eg Careers Service, academic staff, placement officers

• Identify and implement new brand building activity on campus

• Implement diversity strategy on campus

• Meet all campus KPI's and targets

• Management of appropriate campus team budgets providing detailed monthly analysis of spend and activities

• Liaise with HRSSC Marketing Administrator to ensure appropriate administrative work has been completed

• Build in-depth portfolio of campus knowledge and use to support campus strategy and make effective use of resources available

• Overall responsibility for running regular final stage selection events. This will include managing the candidate experience from start to finish, facilitating the debrief session and ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the day.

• Providing good quality feedback to assessment centre candidates within an established time frame

• Work with graduate managers on key aspects of recruitment process such as systems management, reporting, interview and assessor training

Person: • In-house recruitment experience across Graduate and Experienced Hire would be preferable, ideally within professional services but we will consider applications from either background

• Proven track record of executing volume recruitment in conjunction with managing more specialist briefs

• Can quickly pick up full account management of key recruitment areas

• Impact and credibility

• An advocate of KPI's

• Demonstrates solid experience of direct sourcing methods

• Demonstrates calm and objectivity when under pressure

• Can effectively challenge senior Partners & Directors on their recruitment when necessary

• Graduate calibre or equivalent

• Acts with integrity and enthusiasm with the ability to challenge and advise senior management when necessary

• Excellent relationship and people management skills

• Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
