Maternity Cover - Fixed Term Contract for 6-9 Months

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to work with the Welfare to Work Industry. We are looking for you to use your skills to work with Further Education colleges to support their students from learning into work. This is an important position as you will be sourcing sustainable opportunities for students within the local employment market.

You will be working for the REED NCFE Partnership who have the skills and expertise to equip students for the labour market, helping them to secure a job and track their progress after leaving college.

We believe that the partnership of the global recruitment company REED and the national awarding body NCFE can equip students to take this tough step from learning into work.

Role Details
REED NCFE is currently recruiting for an Employment Consultant to join one of the Leading Further Education colleges between Poole and Bournemouth.

As an Employment Consultant you will be responsible for the sourcing of sustainable opportunities, attraction, registration and progression of the students to achieve the placements.

You will work towards targets and guidelines in accordance with the contract obligations and REED NCFE processes. You will be comfortable working in a customer-facing environment and possess good technical skills along with effective communication both verbally and written.

Your Profile
Key Competencies for this role include:
* Experience of working towards targets (eg Recruitment Consultant, Business Development roles)
* Experience of working in a customer-facing environment. (eg Customer Service Assistant, Retail Assistance)
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good technical skills in computing.

Desirable Attainments:
* Experience of working in a performance target driven environment, such as business to business sales or equivalent. Examples of such experience may include working an Employment Broker on a similar contract, being a Recruitment Consultant or experience of Business Development roles, etc.
* Experience of working in a fast paced environment. Examples of such experience may include working as a Recruitment Consultant, etc.
* Experience of exposure to client groups. These client groups may include incapacity benefit claimants, single parents, those with criminal records, mental health groups, ex-services, specific ethnic minority or faith groups and those with specific disabilities.
* Direct previous experience of a similar role. Roles considered to be similar include the role of Employment Broker on a welfare to work contract or a publicly funded service.
