WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Recruits, interviews and recommends placement of candidates from both internal and external sources.
- Maintains effective working relationships with all levels of company management to ensure adequate coverage of human resource needs.
- Consults with management to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates.
- Extends offers to selected candidates and may arrange for relocation.
- Conducts recruiting efforts for a broad range of engineering, administrative, scientific, professional, and managerial positions with a goal of facilitating the right hire in a timely manner.
- Conducts direct sourcing and Internet searching, coordinates advertising, coordinates internal applicant flow.
- Coordinate and participate in recruiting events as well as other college recruitment efforts.
- Screens resumes and conducts preliminary interviews as required.
- Participates as a member of the interviewing team and provides general company culture and benefit information to candidates.
- Manages interview scheduling, collection of timely feedback, and facilitates hiring decisions, conducts reference checks, and coordinates offer letters.
- Other HR/Recruitment project work as needed
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- BA/BS degree with at least three (3) years of direct recruiting experience, or AS degree with at least five (5) years direct recruiting experience
- Recruiting experience in biotechnology industry preferred; experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment highly required.
- Experience recruiting for Matrix structured global organizations preferred.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking software is required Solid understanding of OFFCP guidelines and recruiting techniques utilizing available technology and best practices Experience in guiding efforts to meet affirmative action plan goals and maintaining compliance with employment laws and company policies is required.
- Must have a strong understanding in sourcing candidates, utilizing job boards, LinkedIn and networking methods
- We are looking for someone who has been an inhouse/corporate recruiter, not someone who has worked for a staffing company working on several accounts. May consider a staffing recruiter if they worked exclusively on one biotech account for a considerable amount of time.
