A Recruiter - Early Years is required for a 6 month contract based in Stevenage
Paying £15.58/hr Limited Company Rate D.O.E

Would you like to work for a leading satellite manufacturer?

Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of satellite systems. Their activities cover complete civil and military telecommunications and Earth observation systems, science and navigation programmes, together with avionics and a wide range of space equipment and associated ground infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for and receive a disclosure Scotland certificate prior to commencement of the contract.
Applications are via: at a fee of £25 which will need to be paid by card in full at the end of the application process. The cost of the application is met by the contractor and not redeemable from the client.

Outline role:
A vacancy has arisen within the EADS Recruitment Centre (ERC), Early Careers, for a Recruiter (DEGs). The jobholder will provide a complete recruitment service to Airbus in the UK, including Candidate Sourcing activities, as well as supporting with wider, EADS recruitment projects and initiatives.

The ERC is looking for an individual with experience in the complete recruitment process. With a proven track record in customer management the successful candidate will have the ability to develop strong customer/supplier relationships, ensuring the delivery of operational and service objectives through proximity with the business.

Tasks
Operate strategically as a professional recruitment partner to the business
Influence and advise the business regarding sourcing and recruiting activities
Liaise with relevant centres of expertise to support recruitment process in-line with lean ways of working
Directly line manage the Graduate Recruitment Support & Administrator
Design, develop and implement processes and policies in-line with best practice and business requirements to attract, select, assess, recruit and induct the right quality and number of apprentices on time and to budget
Manage internal and external stakeholders
Harmonise processes where appropriate, cross-divisionally and trans-nationally, whilst ensuring that customer requirements are met

Support wider Early Careers team and Recruitment team with development of services offered, both internally within EADS, and to the external market
Continuously review and improve the recruitment processes follow lean principles
Responsibility for overseeing candidate relationship management, including management of offer process
Effectively manage the graduate recruitment budget
Performance management/SQCDP
Collaborate strategically with the Employment Marketing recruiter, the divisional Employment Marketing team, and the EADS EM team to support design and implementation of apprentice sourcing activities
Represent the ERC and customer to the candidate market, and to external organisations including government agencies
Responsibility for analysis of figures of campaigns and identification of improvements

Candidates will be required to travel to other UK and European sites when the business requires. Candidates must show flexibility in frequency and location for travel.
