Recovery Practitioner - Bedfordshire

Our client has a job vacancy for a Recovery Practitioner to work in Bedfordshire. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £16-18 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties:
- Assessing the needs of clients.
- Providing employment support, guidance and advice to socially excluded groups.
- Developing individual action plans with the emphasis on learning and achievement.
- Working with employers, training and volunteering organisations.
- Managing complex and difficult situations in relation to this and other vulnerable client group(s).

Requirements:
All applicants must have an understanding and experience of substance use and treatment in particular the ability to work with drug and alcohol use, with people who are abstinent or reducing and to be able to work around motivation, risk, relapse prevention and harm minimisation. You must also have experience of planning, facilitating and delivering group work sessions and to teach and coach both clients and volunteers.
