Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for a Records Management Analyst. The position is located in Edmonton.

Role:

The Records Management Analyst participates in information management projects assisting with the management of records which include classification of records, file maintenance, locating and retrieving records, preparing records for disposition, maintaining records metadata within electronic systems and responding to information inquiries.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

- Classification of Records
- File maintenance (creation of new files, volumes, enclosures, labels)
- Locating and retrieving records
- File Audit
- Inventorying and preparing records for disposition
- Maintaining records metadata within electronic systems
- Responding to information inquiries

The Candidate will require the following skills:

- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to problem solve/troubleshoot
- Self starting
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Communication and teamwork

Requirement or Qualifications:

Mandatory Experience/Skill Criteria:

- Experience working in a Records Management environment - one (1) year

Desirable Experience/Skill Criteria:

- Experience with Records Management procedures and processes
- Experience with Records Management/Document Management Software
- Experience with interpreting and applying records retention and disposition schedules
