Record to Report (R2R) Finance Transformation Lead

An opportunity for an experienced R2R Finance Transformation Lead to join a blue chip international Media Brand.

Following an operational review, the decision has been taken to move to an Outsourced Model for transactional finance activity across the Group's European regions. This includes AP, AR and some parts of GL across all business units. As a result, an opportunity has arisen for a fixed term role to lead the record to report tower of the project.

This is a key role within the Project Team to ensure successful delivery of the Programme. The significant part of this role will be supporting finance transformation. The successful candidate will work alongside the Transition Lead, the selected Vendor, Business Unit Leads and Operations to ensure the service visions are defined and implemented on behalf of the business, and in line with the Finance Vision.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Be the global design authority for R2R processes;
i. Design global processes
ii. Authorise deviations from global design

2. Work with the Transition Lead and OpCo to ensure transitions of these processes are planned and executed effectively. Including;
i. Process Mapping and Documentation
ii. Managing work shadowing, training BPO or Finance Transformation; and International business with Matrix structure
* Demonstrable experience of managing and challenging senior stakeholders across business units
