Reconciliations Coordinator - up to £28,000 per annum, Fixed term 3 month contract.

Our client is an award winning multi-national recruitment company based in Redhill seeking a Reconciliations Coordinator to join their busy and dynamic finance team. We are looking for someone with lot's of reconciliation and journal experience and someone who really enjoys completing reconciliations.

Objective
To reconcile and validate sales and cost of sales accruals for the staffing legal entities, including intercompany accruals. To resolve any issues arising to improve (reduce) the ageing of sale and cost of sales accruals.

Person Specification
Motivation - Enthusiastic, with a positive and mature attitude, while working through detailed transaction level reconciliations.
Character - Works to build good relationships with various internal contacts. Good team player.
Creativity - Able to propose innovative solutions in order to increase productivity and maximise efficiency in this area of work.
Communication - good verbal and written communications skills.
Business Expertise - A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, including complex reconciliations, and general ledger journal entries.
Work Management - the ability to work at a good pace.
Systems -. Confident in use of Excel to intermediate/advanced level. Experience of Navision accounting system preferable. Technical confidence to quickly learn and work with an internal systems and procedures.

Duties may include, but are not limited to (emphasis may vary):

To complete detailed reconciliations of the Accrued Contractor Costs and Sales Accruals accounts for the staffing division (5 legal entities).
To work with the Pay/Bill department to clear reconciling differences.
To prepare journal entries to correct MIS-posted transactions.
