Job Description

We are looking for an full time temporary Receptionist and Maintenance Operative. At the core of everything which Simplyhealth does is its belief in putting customers and clients first and always doing the "right thing", not just the easy thing. Your duties include:

Within this role you will:

* Take bookings for visitor car parking and manage car parking rota
* Meet and greet all visitors into the building and inform host of arrival
* Monitor security access to car park and reception area
* Monitor CCTV images and have working knowledge of CCTV and system to review and produce CD's when required
* Maintain contractor visitor log and issue visitor badges
* Issue temporary access cards and keep records up to date
* Assist Business Services with administration work when required
* Be actively involved in the relocation of staff and furniture for internal office moves.
* Carry out building, occupancy and other project work as required.
* Have a working knowledge of air-conditioning controls, fire and security alarms andemergency switch points for electricity and gas.
* Carry out statutory testing and record results e.g. fire alarm testing, emergency lights,water temperatures.
* Assist the Facilities Team Leader with the planned maintenance programme to ensure itis carried out through in house work and contractor service.
* Assist with the supervision of contractors on site ensuring safe systems of work throughpermits to work, method statements and risk assessments and adherence to theControl of Contractors Policy.
* Assist with the delivery and collection of post and porterage
* Support the Independent Living shop team in the Merrion Centre and any other localsite.

This role is 35 hours per week worked Monday to Friday; some flexibility may be required to meet reporting deadlines. You will be based in Leeds however; you may be required to attend other sites throughout the Simplyhealth group.
