The Mere Resort are searching for a bright, friendly and professional receptionist to join our fantastic Front Office team. As a Receptionist you will have a real passion for pleasing people and will be willing to go the extra mile for our guests. Our Reception team are responsible for the first welcome into our luxurious 4 star resort, and have a huge impact on creating a lasting first impression.
The role
* Ensure all guests are welcomed to the hotel and high levels of customer service are demonstrated at all times.
* Check in and check out.
* Answer the telephone and direct calls appropriately.
* Action any feedback received from the Guests.
* Cashiering.
* Conducting show rounds in the absence of the Events team.
* Thorough understanding of Opera
The ideal candidate
* Opera or similar Front Office system experience is essential
* Experience in a guest facing role, preferably hotel based
* A friendly and approachable manner
* High levels of passion and professionalism
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Experience of providing high levels of customer service
