React JS Senior Developer:

12 months contract in Amsterdam

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a React JS Senior Developer t to join a global consultancy company to work onsite in beautiful Amsterdam. The job is expected to be complex and challenging, where your testing skills will be tested. As well as this, the role will be exciting for the right candidate as each day working as part of this close, amazing team, will be different. The project is expected to last 2 years minimum.

Responsibilities:

Developing new user-facing features using React.js

Building reusable components and Front End libraries for future use
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
Connecting react component to CMS( Hippo) Back End data

Technical skills required:

Basic JavaScript (ES5)

JavaScript (ES6 and Beyond)

Asynchronous Programming in JavaScript ( Promises, Observable, Async/Await)

CSS/SASS/SCSS/LESS/BEM

JavaScript Library or Framework (Angular/React or similar)

Responsive Web design

NodeJs and Express Framework

Working knowledge of Unit test tools and framework ( Jasmine, mocha, sinon, jest,enzyme etc)

Working knowledge of REST API

Webpack, grunt and gulp tools

Knowledge of NPM and Yarn packages manager

Knowledge of GIT, Bitbucket or Similar

Working knowledge of Agile.

Knowledge of Docker/Docker-compose environment
