RBS 6000 Field Engineer

Connect44 is looking for FIELD RBS TROUBLESHOOTER FOR THE PROJECT IN SWITZERLAND.

- Troubleshooting of newly installed RBS in the swap area
- Possible reconfiguration and integration of RBS nodes
- Work with the ASPs to verify technical designs and confirm installation requirements
- Is dispatched to sites with problems (day and night)
- Carries spare parts in car for quick failure resolution
- Reports HW quality issues towards Head of FS
- Supports Quality activities
- Training of Sub-contractors about Ericsson quality requirements
- Monitor and report Project Quality KPIs

Review and accept ASP documentations and notify Project Manager when complete for contractual acceptance

The FIELD RBS TROUBLESHOOTER reports to the Head of Networks Design Department (line) and the Head of  Field Forces (Project)

REQUESTED COMPETENCE:

- Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory for this position.
- Degree within Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
- In depth knowledge with common RAN platforms, preferably of Ericsson's RBS6000 family
- In depth working knowledge of Radio Access Networks technologies, in particular LTE
- Knowledge of SDH, ATM, Ethernet, IP transport technologies
- A good working knowledge of the required industry standards for the installation of RAN equipment
- Proven track record of delivering quality against project time scales
- Tenacious drive to deliver against business targets
- Analytical approach to problems
- Need to be mobile withinSwitzerland, is in possession of a driver's license
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the telecom industry un the implementation area
- Team player with excellent communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to develop excellent ASPs relations
- Flexible and works independently
- Very good IS/IT knowledge
