Rational Tools Administrator Job

RATIONAL TOOLS ADMINISTRATOR needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Indianapolis, IN.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- IBM Rational Suite Tools Administration
- Embedded systems product development environment

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Systems engineering tools administration and support.
- Use and perform administration, mentoring, consulting, training, and general expertise for tools and databases to manage requirements, tracing, issue tracking, documentation, and software revision control.
- Support associated tools support for various R&D product development and test groups.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related discipline.
- Five (5+) years of hands-on experience with IBM Rational Suite usage and administration, including RequisitePro, ClearQuest, and ClearCase, as well as, Rational Publishing Engine (RPE) template development and report generation and administration within an Embedded systems product development team.
- Similar experience with DOORS, Rational TestManager and Test RealTime.
- Experience with metrics identification, creation, management, root cause analysis, documentation management, Change Control Board (CCB) participation and facilitation, SOP creation, and general process improvements for Systems Engineering and associated processes and tools.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong experience with systems and requirements analysis, design, and modelling, along with administration, management, and maintenance of such, is preferred. HIPAA experience.
- Prefer experience with Visio, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Enterprise Architect, and SysML.
