Rational Team Concert SME/Consultant - Banking

A Global Investment bank are looking to hire a Rational Software Architect SME to work on an implementation project.

Responsibilities:

- Support the rollout of RTC across Group IT development teams;
- Promote and guide the adoption of the Rational tools across Group IT;
- Provide one-to-one coaching and mentoring and/or group coaching and mentoring on the tools and their usage;
- Act as SMEs (subject matter experts) and a support mechanism, providing technical expertise and coaching to individuals, projects and programmes as required;
- Act as senior members of the central Rational programme, providing technical knowledge and acting as Trusted Advisors to the central programme team; and
- Present and act as evangelists of Rational tools and Group IT transformed processes.

Technical Skills required:

For Rational Team Concert:

- Deep technical understanding of Rational Team Concert v4.0.1
- Experience of the following RTC capabilities and how to best deploy these capabilities to a large user base:
- Planning
- Work Item Management for Waterfall programme delivery
- Work Item Management for Agile programme delivery
- Familiarity with Agile concepts and the use of Rational Team Concept to implement those concepts
- Collaboration
- Configuration Management
- Administration/Customisation
