An elite investment bank is seeking an experienced trading assistant to sit on its Fixed Income Gov't Trading desk here in NYC. The successful candidate will sit directly on the desk and have extensive exposure to trading, risk and back office. Primary responsibilities include: trade capture, risk/position monitoring, liaising front office to other areas of the firm (risk, ops), ad-hoc projects for desk etc. Products Include but no limited to: Treasury Notes, T-Bills, Gov't Agency bonds, futures etc. Minimum Requirements Include: Bachelors Degree from top university. 3-5 years of middle office/TA experience. Strong understanding of products listed above. Strong communication skills and ability to interact with traders.
