Range Design Lead

My client is a market leader in the retail industry (supermarkets) and is looking for someone to lead a piece of work to complete the design of their new ranging processes. You'll need to design a set of coaching and training interventions to be used to develop the capability of the customer planning managers and buyers, to deliver the new ranging processes.

To be considered for this exciting role, you will have outstanding stakeholder management, and the following skills and experience:

- Significant experience of building customer-focused ranges and managing the commercial implications of these (supplier relationships and re-negotiations, managing new and discontinued lines etc)
- Strong understanding of the principles of customer-focused ranging and how to apply these
- Very strong stakeholder management and highly developed influencing skills. Ability to quickly build up credibility with multiple category and commercial leadership stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; highly skilled communicator who is also astute in interpreting non-verbal communication
- Experience of designing and delivering training; Coaching and facilitation skills
- ABILITY to apply INDIRECT influence, delegate effectively and successfully achieve RESULTS THROUGH OTHERS
- Ability to work with ambiguity and conflicting priorities; able to structure own workload
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Previous experience of process design advantageous
