RAN Engineer

For one of our client in the Netherlands active in the telecommunications sector, we are currently recruiting for a RAN Design Engineer.

Location: Stein, the Netherlands.
Start date: ASAP

Tasks and responsibilities
-Daily capacity management of BSC load;
-Produce High Level
-Contribute and deliver feature introductions and parameter changes in the 2G RAN;
-As a designer participate in and contribute to Pilot of Trial projects;
-As a designer, provide support to the roll-out process of SDU Network Deployment;

Candidate Profile
- Degree in telecommunications;
- Strong experience and understanding of 2G SW Features, their parameters, and the corresponding RAN Optimizations possible on network level;
- Wide working experience with Operators network planning department;
- Broad Telecoms, IT and Technology experience;
- Broad overview of GSM/UMTS Access, Core and Transport (Transmission, IP) technologies;
- Advanced understanding of Wireless Network architecture, Technologies, concepts and standards (eg 3GPP, ITU-T);
- Independent, but also team player;
- Problem solver and coach for other problems solvers;
- Responsible, service minded, flexible, talking initiatives;
- Organized and disciplined
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
