Rail - HV - Rail Electrical Design Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a key client of ours based in the North West.

As a growing company they are in the process of bidding and winning work across the transmission and distribution and rail sector.

An urgent role has come about due to the nature of a current project.

The work involves substation and cabling work within the Rail industry.

A 6 month contract has therefore come available for an engineer with HV rail experience - AC (11kV/33kV/25kV) substations and cables and/or DC.

Experience of these areas including designing interfaces with OEM plant and equipment (both primary - ie cabling and secondary ie protection and controls systems - schemes etc) would be highly advantageous.

Ideally you will also be aware of Network Rail Electrical design process and the standards associated with this design.

These projects all relate to substation design/construction and HV cabling installation.

The rate will be approximately £30/hour but will be flexible depending on experience.
