£550 per day

A Rail Franchising Project Manager is required to be responsible for leading the delivery of franchise agreements that the DfT will seek to achieve with incumbent operator(s) and work alongside the Commercial Manager and Procurement Lead. This role is to work 15 days per month.

You will need to have the following essential experience:
Experience of successfully managing a large and complex project with many stakeholders, preferably in rail/transport industry
Experience in people management
Experience in risk and issue management
Experience in change management
Proficient in project management software
Prince 2 or equivalent qualification
Experience in rail franchises would be beneficial

Desirable Knowledge:
UK franchised rail industry
Central government project management
