ROLE PROFILE

Our client, based in the North West, are currently recruiting for an experienced Rail Development Advisor. The successful candidate is required to manage and lead the client's strategic rail agenda for the region. The candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of strategic rail policies in support of the City's growth agenda, with the primary focus of driving the case for the Rail Task Force. The candidate will also work with partners, stakeholders and neighbouring local authorities to secure commitments from Government, Government Agencies and Train Operating Companies.

You will bring experience of project management to take on the overall responsibility for commissioning studies, preparing business cases, preparing briefing notes for the Government Departments and rail industry officials. You will have extensive knowledge of rail policy with extensive experience in rail consultancy or working in the rail industry either with infrastructure providers, train operating companies or Government Departments.
