Specifically, this will include:
# Management of documentation, approvals and possessions required from Network Rail and other third parties.
# Chairing project meetings with the design team, contractor, Network Rail and other stakeholders
# Managing and overseeing the communication between all parties
# Managing the forward planning of future submissions and to work to meet deadlines required
# Managing, organising and maintaining required possessions, isolations, blockades required for work
# Organising rail replacement services and passenger information updates
# Reporting/briefing on progress, risks and issues
This role will involve working with a wide variety of people & issues and therefore will be quite complex. There is a high amount of administration involved.
The position will involve working on the client site roughly two days per week, with some site-based work but c50-60% remote (home) working.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has strong organisational, stakeholder management and organisational skills. A rail background is essential as it the ability to appropriately challenge stakeholders and work independently. We require experience of construction/engineering/technical type projects (not IT). Experience of managing Network Rail approvals and handling possession issues is advantageous.
Formal Project Management qualifications are advantageous. Quick interview and start required. Initial 4 month contract.
