Projektbeschreibung
I am looking for a Radio DMR Expert to join a global telecoms company in Brussels.
Main Duties to include -
Configuration of DMR radio devices and repeaters before roll-out in the field
Configuration of Tier III controller
Format frequency plans
Assist while rolling out new radio installations on NMBS sites.
This implies:
Installations of repeaters
Verify antenna installation + coordinate any installations
Rolling out radios (end-user devices)
Provide training on the use of the new radios to the people on the sites where new installations are rolled out
If built documentation write after roll-out of a site
To review the various installations:
Track asset database (which radio, on which site, with any configuration). This is done by the radio engineers
Unsubscribe BIPT licenses and manage their records (maintain database)
Help roll out new radio installations within the framework of the NMBS project radios
Radio technology with high-frequency specialization or electronics with high-frequency specialization,
Extra specialization in antenna technology is a plus
Cisco CCNE certified
VMWare certified
Red Hat certified
Microsoft windows server certified
PTT certified by a radio manufacturer
DMR Tier III engineer certified
At least certified (advanced certifications) by 2 manufacturers in DMR technology
Certification by a spectrum analyzer manufacturer (Anritsu, Aeroflex, Cobham, ...)
Experience
At least 10 years of experience in analogue or TETRA technology
At least 7 years of experience in DMR technology
At least 5 DMR networks of at least 100 users are designed and rolled out
Have at least 1 national network
Have experience with bills on DMR networks
At least 5 years experience in railway environments or public transport sector.
Skills/Competencies/Attributes
Create national network designs
Impact/risk estimation on national networks
It is possible to compile and evaluate technical bills
Have a good knowledge of Belgian procurement legislation
Affinity with IT security (preferably certification)
Driving License B
Languages
Trilingual (Dutch, French and English) for communications with business and vendors.
