Radio Design/Optimization Engineer/Network/4G/LTE/TEMS/NEMO/Atoll/RAN

IDPP is currently looking for a UMTS/LTE Radio Network Planning and Optimization Engineer for 4G network rollout in Amsterdam.

The perfect candidate will have 3 to 5 years major operator experience as 3G/4G radio design and optimization engineer: design, planning, network optimization and evaluation of radio coverage using simulation software Atoll.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning and site creation
-

Site ranking and selection of potential candidates
-

Perform on site Technical Site Surveys
-

LTE troubleshooting, tuning, optimization and maintenance based on drive test data, using tools Ascom TEMS and Anite NEMO
-

Database management and consistency confirmation
-

Define site materials (RBS equipment's, feeders, antennas, TMAs, combiners, diplexers)
-

RAN site configuration file creation
-

NSN vendor experience and knowledge
-

Site drive test verification, optimization and acceptance

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven 4G design and optimization experience

TEMS measurement tool and investigation experience
-

MapInfo knowledge
-

Very good knowledge of Radio Planning tool (Atoll

In-depth experience with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Access
-

Fluent English mandatory, Dutch an advantage
