Radio Access Network Engineer 3G Node B RNC

Experience in NSN 3G Technology: 7 years

- Advanced knowledge definition of optimization strategies for UMTS-RAN RNCs to NSN.
- Advanced knowledge of control plane protocols and user plane (NBAP, RRC, RLC, MAC, RANAP, NAS, etc.) and 3GPP standards.
- Knowledge in IP interfaces and parameterization as IUB IUR IUCS.
- Extensive knowledge of software NetAct OSS 5.3 and above.
- Extensive knowledge of the different nodes that compose a UMTS network, RAN and CORE.
- Management of the following applications: RNC Application Launcher, optimizer, WBTS Site Manager, and Manage Software License Manager
- Knowledge of tools Dumps,. Xml files,
- Extensive knowledge in the application of RF parameter changes to small, medium and large scale using NetAct tools and file handling. Xml (parameters RNC, Node B, UTRAN relation, activation of features, etc.).
- Experience in defining settings for second carrier, baseband pool, dual Iub, IP and full definition of Vc's.
- Extensive knowledge of tools for creating scripts and implementing changes, software or other tang.
- Extensive knowledge in Hw and management (Node B, RNC, Iub, IUCS, IUPS, Iur, etc).
- Knowledge and use alarms, and air interface signalling protocols.
- Generate and analyze statistics for RNC and Node B, with RU2CMP6.1 version and later.
- Strong knowledge in transport ATM (AAL5, AAL2, UniSaal), IP transport (TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP/IP) and Dual Stack (ATM + IP configuration).
