R PYTHON MODEL VALIDATION TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS LEADER- BRUSSELS - 6 MONTHS
You will be directly involved in the development of a MODEL VALIDATION PLATFORM (MVP), an IT platform which our employees will be using to exploit our validation services.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's or PhD degree in statistics, mathematics, physics or computer science
- 10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN BUILDING SOLUTIONS (ACROSS THE LIFE CYCLE, FROM INCEPTION TO MAINTENANCE) AND IN DEVELOPING TECHNICAL PLATFORMS
- Previous experience in DESIGN BIG DATA BASED ARCHITECTURES to build and scale digital solutions
- R AND PYTHON AND STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF DATA ANALYSIS, treatment techniques and modelling statistical techniques
- Previous experience in managing a development team (5+ people)
- Experience in agile development and related processes (eg SCRUM)
- Experience in open source and cloud based technologies
- Knowledge of financial models (and model validation processes) is a plus
- Experience in process automation (and related tools) is a plus
- Experience in managing yearly budgets
- Experience in stakeholders and communication management
- Experience IT and data security is a big plus
- Capability and willingness to mentor others and also building a team from scratch (up to 10 people)
Your job: You will define the strategy, architecture and specifications of the platforms in interaction with internal stakeholders.
You will implement, lead and manage the development team, adopting an agile approach. You will define and manage budgets for the program. You will be part of the client leadership team and regularly present evolutions of the platforms to the client Leadership (and other stakeholders).
PLEASE NOTE; you need to work via an umbrella company to pay tax and social security in country.
We need this done from day one. Tax and social security is circa 34%, the umbrella company pay you direct into your bank every month and the take care of all administrative work - insurance and so on. Simple, easy, legal and a must-do for EU contracts. You have nothing to do but the work you are contracted to do and send a timesheet at the end of the month.
They charge 500 euros per month for their service but it's a simple one-stop-shop.
