R&M Engineer

R&M Engineer required to perform RM&T analysis and support the R&M Manager in developing System CDR R&M Case Report.

Typical activities will include:
Performing RM&T analysis work, encompassing (but not limited to) FMECA, RBD, DRACAS trends.
Gather supporting evidence from engineering domains.
Liaise with suppliers and incorporate Supplier evidence.
Ensure evidence to support VVRM is available.
Supporting RCM activities as appropriate.
Responsibility for ensuring own RM&T Programme activities are completed to schedule and cost.
Interdisciplinary interface with other departments and other members of the Supportability Team.
Ensuring suitability of evidence for inclusion in RM&T Case Reports.
Participation in RM&T working groups as required.

The successful candidate will have the below skills:
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of DEF STANS 00-13, 00-40, 00-60, 05-95 and equivalent Military Standards and Handbooks.
Hands on knowledge and experience within RM&T positions with major Defence contractors.
Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently on own initiative as well as within a 'team' environment.
Ability to work under pressure in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
Flexible working habits, with the ability to travel both within Europe and North America.
Thorough working knowledge of modern IT working practices and R&M prediction software packages.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting procedure.
