For a longterm project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a R DEVELOPER - WINDOWS/LINUX (4774).
The ideal candidate is an all-round, quick learner, proactive and self-motivated team player that understands the value of collaboration.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- BACHELOR'S OR MASTER'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AND/OR MATHEMATICS/STATISTICS
- KNOWLEDGE OF R IS A MUST
- EXPERIENCE TROUBLESHOOTING SOFTWARE ISSUES ON WINDOWS AND LINUX ENVIRONMENTS
- Experience of Java, Matlab or SAS is advantageous
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices preferred
- Solid numerical and quantitative skills
- Able to approach problem solving in a structured manner, coordinating with other team members and documenting successful outcomes
- A strong communicator with fluency in English, both in oral and written form
