R&D Technician III

This position provides support to R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. Utilize the expertise to fabricate, debug, and modify engineering prototype assembly. Research and analyze part lists for assembly of supporting tools and equipment. Support designing and building automated test systems. Key Responsibilities: * Understand detailed instructions from R IPC certification a plus * Fabricate working devices using processes such as resistance welding, laser welding, adhesive bonding, etc. * Efficiently and effectively build high quality custom devices, complete testing, and prepare documentation * Experienced in material analysis such as cross section sample prep and measurements * Assists management by making suggestions related to supporting and coordinating assigned project tasks * Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions. * Assist engineers to perform verification test and troubleshooting Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities: Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
