Senior Quant Developer required for a 12 month contract in Zurich for our Global Financial Client
You will be responsible for Quant development with extensive in-house development experience of trading applications. The skills required for this role are an in-depth analytic background (Quants) with strong skills in OOP, .NET C# 4.5 or above, LINQ, multi-threading. Good DB design and SQL knowledge including SQL Server 2008 or above. Requirements engineering/Business Analysis skills with Test driven development and Agile/scrum experience. Good spoken and written English and German
The ideal candidate will have experience with Web technologies:
Asp.NET MVC & Web Api, JavaScript (jQuery, angular, knockout. Unit testing (eg NUnit) and mocking frameworks. Experience in the Area of actuarial treaty pricing of property, specialty reinsurance risks, quantitative risk management of property and/or specialty reinsurance and previous experience in the Finance/Insurance industries (ideally within Trading/Portfolio Management)
Higher Education, such as Bachelor Degree in Computer Science would be a distinct advantage.
