QUANTITY SURVEYOR - RICS/CIOB

Location: Reading, Berkshire

Our client, a leading Telecommunication company based in Reading require an experienced Telecoms orientated Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis for a long term project.

The overall objective from the Quantity Surveyor will be to manage the site construction costs for a large telecommunication project to access and evaluate costs provided by partner and to add value engineering solutions.

Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor - Telecoms;

- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Cost analysis project work
- Identify commercial risks
- Preparing and analysing cost for tenders
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations

Background from Quantity Surveyor - Telecoms;

- 4 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Telecommunications/Construction
- Exposure to large Telecom network deployment projects such as; Vodafone Beacon, EE Refresh, MBNL, Darwin
- RICS or CIOB accreditation
- Previous experience managing sub-contractors
