QUANTITY SURVEYOR - MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL - CONTRACT - BROMLEY

Our client is a leading construction services organization, specializing in new build M&E installations, partnering some of the UK's largest public and private sector clients for over thirty years. Due to continued growth they seek an experienced, fully competent M&E Quantity Surveyor on a rolling contract basis to help deliver contracts to major partners in and around London.  

You will have complete competency in the following areas:

- Preparing detailed cost plans
- Advising on procurement strategy
- Preparing tender and contracts documents, including bills of quantities
- Identifying responses to commercial risks
- Preparing costings for tenders
- Establishing and operating cost and financial control systems
- Certifying payments to contractors against work completed
- Negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded
- Providing advice on contractual claims
- Writing detailed progress reports
- Computer literate in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
