QUANTITY SURVEYOR, CHARTERED SURVEYOR, BUILDING DESIGN, LOCAL AUTHORITIES, LANCASHIRE, CONTRACT

Due to continuous success in all areas my Lancashire based client is looking for a Quantity surveyor to join their team for an initial 3-6 month contract.

The purpose of this position is to provide professional Quantity Surveying services, developing, establishing, monitoring, and controlling the costs of building projects, providing assistance to senior colleagues, as required, and supporting the team by contributing to the achievement of the objectives set out in the business plan.  

To be considered for this post you will ideally have a degree in Quantity Surveying and preferably, professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Experience and knowledge of the pre-contract role of a Quantity Surveyor (Estimating, Cost Planning, BQ Preparation, Spend profiling etc.)  Also it is essential that you have experience and knowledge of partnered construction projects and National Building specification.

To be considered for this post you MUST have experience working within the Local Authorities.
