Quantity Surveyor

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Our client a Global Telecommunications Organisation is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage the site construction costs provided by the partner and to add value engineering to solutions. The role reports into the Technical Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the Partner and/or client
- Undertaking costs analysis for project work
- Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
- Preparing and analysing costs for tenders
- Valuing completed work and approving of payments
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
- Providing advice on contractual claims

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- RICS or CIOB accreditation
- 5 years minimum experience within construction
- Good knowledge of construction within the Telecommunications Industry
- Experience and knowledge of network deployment and delivery projects
- Experience of working with blue chip clients
- Professional structured approach to working on own initiative
- Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment
- Experience of managing subcontractors
