Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor sought by our local authority client for a contract role initially set for 10 months.

As Quantity Surveyor you will be accountable for delivery of all cost, commercial and quantity surveying matters on designated projects from inception to completion.

You will deliver projects to budget and council procedures as well as providing advice to the strategic property group.

As Quantity Surveyor you will also be responsible for maintaining the contract documentation archive. Supporting other key staff you will link with key partners and suppliers and associated third parties.

To be a credible candidate for the Quantity Surveyor role you will be either MRICS, MCIOB or Masters qualified. You will have extensive construction or property related qualifications and experience.

You will have worked previously as a Quantity Surveyor ideally in the public sector and have had exposure to a wide range of projects spanning all types of developments from traditional to modern and eco-friendly. You will have extensive knowledge of consultant engagements, construction contracts, warranties and other ancillary projects spanning legal, documentation and design protocols.

As Quantity Surveyor you will also be expected to understand H&S legislation, Council Standing Orders and knowledge of OJEU public procurement.
