Quantity Surveying Technician

Harvey Nash's Ayrshire based client requires a Quantity Surveying Technician to join their team on an initial 3 month contract.

Main Duties will include:

. Responsible for overall contract performance, including profitability targets, monthly analysis, weekly spot checks and performance vs target analysis
. Maintain and monitor an action plan to improve productivity with operation management
. Responsible for pricing estimate for building works for both internal and external clients
. Carry out property surveys, reports and cost estimates

Essential Skills:

. Proven track record within a Quantity Surveying Technician role
. HNC Construction Management (or equivalent)
. Experience using IT systems and packaging
. Measured term contracts experience
. Estimating experience
. Strong understanding of Building Industry quality standards
. JCT Conditions of Contract awareness, including the Standard Form of Measured Term Contract
. Awareness of Standard Methods of Measurement

The ideal candidate will also have experience with URM and Opti-Time systems, Lagan CRM systems, and hold a qualification in CSCS Construction Site Management.

This position also requires a valid driver's license.
